FROG - GRENOUILLE

It is amazing to see all the life and colors in the woods, but only if you take the time to look. This little frog, soaking in water, is only 2 inches – 5 cm and did not mind to have is picture taken. Please do not litter. Il est surprenant de voir toute la vie et couleurs qu’il y a en forêt, si on prend le temps de regarder. Cette petite grenouille dans l’eau, mesure seulement 2 pouces – 5 cm et semblait être fière que je la photographie.

MORE BERRIES - ENCORE DES BAIES

I still don't know what they are, but I find them pretty. My friend decline to taste them... Je ne sais pas si elles sont bonnes à manger, mais je les trouve jolies. Mon ami n’a pas voulu y gouter???

BERRIES - BAIES

While walking on the trail we saw all kinds of different color berries but these were really different. En marchant dans le sentier nous avons vu beaucoup de baies de différentes couleurs, mais celle-ci étaient vraiment différentes.

Addition 17 Aug. I don’t know the name of these, so I can’t tell if they are eatable. Je ne sais pas le nom de ces baies, alors je ne peux dire si elles sont comestibles.

BLOOMS

It is beautiful in the Spring. C'est beau le printemps.

FLOWERS IN THE MARSH - FLEURS DANS LES MARAIS

I really enjoyed the color contrast of these flowers in the marsh: and the deers also enjoyed them, a different way. J'ai bien aimé le contraste des couleurs de ces fleurs dans le marais; et les chevreuils les ont aimé aussi. mais d'une manière différente.

MORNING CLOAK BUTTERFLY(Nymphalis Antiopa)

We saw many of these on the trails. Nous en avons vu plusieurs sur le sentier.

PORCUPINE - PORC-EPIC

At about 40 feet in the air, this fellow seems to have a nice morning rest with his legs each side of the branch and his head resting in the fork, while overlooking the Cranberry Marsh. A 40 pieds dans les airs, ce porc-épic semble bien se reposer pour la sieste du matin, avec les pattes de chaque cotés de la branche et la tête dans la fourche, tout en regardant le marais de canneberges.

TURTLE - TORTUE

SAND ART

Ever changing colors and shapes of the sand at the bottom of a shallow, slow running creek. Couleurs et formes changeantes dans un ruisseau lent et peu profond.

REFLECTIONS

No wind makes for nice reflections on the water; and we met one small frog on trail along with many birds and a turtle. L'absence de vent permet de voir de belles réflections dans l'eau; nous avons aussi vu une petite grenouille sur le sentier en plus de plusieurs oiseaux et une tortue.
